why not join in at the

ScrapAWhile Dead Leaves CyberCrop
6th March – 8th March

We are very excited to announce that Aida Haron will be out Guest Designer for our CyberCrop! Aida is an amazing scrapbooker – based in Singapore she will be online having lots of fun with us.
So Book it into your diaries girls!
Since March is usually a quiet month; Christmas and New Year over, the kids settled in to school and Easter still ahead of us, we thought this would be a great opportunity to record the usual, day to day things that fill our lives. It's not about celebrations or big events; it's aboutscrapping the everyday Scrapping doesn't have to be about celebations or achievements of great events. It can be scrapping for scrapping, for art, for relaxing or for connecting with others. So gather up all those unscrapped photos, jot down your list of daily activies and think about the ordinary stuff, the very fabric of your life, as we enjoy the little things together

Scrapping Her Boys

This month "scrapping her boys" featured scrapbooker is Suzie Fauvrelle....

Hi I'm Suzie, I am married to Chris and we have two gorgeous boys Dylan 8 and Hayden 6.

I was introduced to scrapbooking about 8 years ago now and I have been scrapping seriously for 5 years. My boys are defiantly boy BOYS! They love all sports especially Aussie Rules they enjoy bike riding, wrestling (that's with each other) and they also love cuddles and kisses. So ofcourse my two boys are my main subject of my scrapping. I am a passionate scrapbooker who has turned a hobbie into a business where I now have a online scrapbooking shop called Love Scrappin' and I love it!! My style is freestyle, sometimes eclectic and I pretty much always use bright colours. My format is 12 x 12 and I like to fill up my page, either using a large photo or embellishments. One thing that consists in my layouts is fun.I just wish sometimes there was more time in the day so I can do more layouts.

Wheels or Wings Swap

The star swap is going great guns but there will be a slight dealy in postage as one package has gone AWOL and so post out will hopefully be nect week...

So this month I thought it would be good to do a slightly more challenging swap (I just hope I get some interest). Boys love there toys so I thought Wheel and Wings could be the inspiration for this swap...So think anything with wings (eg. planes, bugs, birds, owl etc) or wheels (eg. cars, trains, carts, bikes, robots etc.)...the possibilties are endless as are the mediums to create your swaps in.

What do you need to do to take part?
Sign up in the comment section of this post, then email me for confirmation of your spot in the swap and my postal address.

How long until sign up closes?
Sign up will be open until the 14th of this month...(this will be a fairly quick turn around swap) and then I will email everyone who is interested with the number of items you will be required to produce.

How long until the items need mailing?
You will need to have your Embellishments made and in the post to me by the 21st February ...I will then return post them on the 28th ...so you should receive them in the first week of March all going well.

Fairly simple really...there are a couple of specifications so I will list those here:
Please ensure the following:
1. you keep to the time frames specified
2. your swaps are not too large no bigger than 2.5" x 2.5"(for postage reasons)
3. you include a stamped self address envelope with your swaps
4. you have fun and be creative...

Swap are so much fun and very addictive so why not join in. I will be posting a sneaks of what you can expect in your envelope at the end of the month.

FEBRUARY CHALLENGE CRITERIA

We have had an overwhelming response to the first challenge on Scrap the Boys...with over 40 layouts entered...the winners will be announced in the next few days...be sure to vote for your favourite layout in the Poll (closes 4th midnight) as one of the winner will be from your votes, one will be a random draw and there will be one voted by the CT.

As the weather gets hotter and the days are still long I was thinking about how much time my boy spends outside (not enough for my liking ...but still) and thought that this months challenge would revolve around the great outdoors...

So I would like to see you create a layout with the theme of "THE GREAT OUTDOORS" so I want to see boys doing what they do outside...there is also a technique criteria to this months challenge I would like to see you use stamping on the layout somewhere ...
