"Every Day Is An Adventure"
I started with a full sheet of Crate Paper 'Boys Rule' vellum as a background. I trimmed a 1/4" off each side, then stuck it down to my black cardstock, careful to only apply the adhesive where I knew my other layers would cover.
I used a negative piece of black cardstock that I had left over from die cutting cogs, and placed some triangle patterns underneath to bring in the triangles from the mood board.
For my next layers under my photo I used a mixture of straight-edged pieces and ripped-edge layers. I really love the look of ripped paper, it really gives a grungy, edgy feel.
I had a lot of dark, negative space in my photo, so I stuck my title straight onto the photo. I also used a script stamp for the word' adventure'.
I finished off with embellishments of different textures - vellum, felt, flair, resin, punchinella and ribbon.
I'd love to see your interpretations for this month's mood board.

Fabulous layout - gorgeous layering and I really love the use of the negative from the die cutting.
