November Challenge | Then & Now

 

Hello STB scrapbookers!

It's time to do a Then & Now challenge. What a wonderful way to see how much growth and change the boys/men in our lives have done! It really is a reminder that time does fly and we have to capture all those moments and document them before the memories fade.

I love what our design team created!

Marie Kennedy is also joining us again this month as a guest designer and we love her take on the challenge!

Thank you for joining us again Marie!

We will not be having a challenge in December as we know how busy 'life' is at that time of the year but we look forward to sharing our first challenge of 2023 January 1st.

October challenge - Sewing and Stitching on Your Layout!

 Welcome October!

This month its all about sewing and stitching on your layout. It can be hand or machine stitching. It can be added to your layout or embellishments. So get your thread and needles out as its time to add texture and extra interest to your layouts.

As always our DT girls have created beautiful layouts to inspire you and show you a variety of ways to incorporate stitching into your boy layouts.

Maria Kennedy is our guest designer this month and we LOVE her layouts created for our sewing challenge!

Hi my name is Maria Kennedy and I live in Milton Keynes, Bucks, UK.

I have been married to Jonathan for 28 years now, we have five grown up children and a five year old grandson, he is mostly the subject of my Scrap the Boys layouts.

I really enjoy following along and taking part in the online virtual scrapbook days.

I scrap for pleasure and to to claw back some much needed me time!

September Flower Challenge:

Hello STB friends! 

Happy September from Australia! 

Spring is on its way and to celebrate we thought what better way than add flowers to our layouts of our boys/men!

Here is a little about her:

I’m Vanessa Cook and I live with my husband in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. We run our own business together. I love scrapping 12x12 and don’t really scrap any other sizes. I don’t think I have a scrapping style of my own (wish I did) but I am trying to get a bit braver with colour. I scrap mostly pics of my 4 nephews, 2 great nephews and husband (just 1 of those!). All these boys are the reason I joined the Scrap the Boys Facebook page - for lots of inspiration. I do also have a niece who I  love to scrap too.

Hi, my name ist Julia. 

I live with my husband, my son (18), my daughter (13) and our dog "Bruno" in a beautiful old half-timbered house in the middle of Germany. 

I love card making and especially scrapbooking since my daughter was born in 2008. Bright and colorful layouts are my favorit and sometimes I also like to make pretty littles boxes. Scrapbooking is my relaxation.
