Scrapping her Boys
This month we feature Taryn Stark in the "Scrapping Her Boys" Spotlight...she is our winner from the July Challenge. Here is her gorgeous take on the challenge
Hi, I’m Taryn Stark, a SAHM to 4 kidlets: one little princess, and 3 little superheros. Every day, my children amaze me with the things they say and do, which is why I love to capture the every day through scrapbooking.
I have always been interested in art and craft from an early age, mostly drawing and collage type work, and sewing, which somewhere along the line all got put on the backburner to make way for career and family commitments. I was introduced to scrapbooking while living and working in the US, almost 6 years ago, and fell in love instantly. Even so, I never really managed to make time for my craft until just recently, and now I am totally addicted, and wonder why it took me so long to make time to be creative.
Now my hobby has become a way of life, and I can’t imagine a life without it. I love that my children love the craft. They love to scrap along with me, and they love to see themselves as the stars of my creations. They regularly look through their albums, and read the details over and over again. It is such a pleasure to know that they will have lasting memories of their childhood.
With 3 boys, I have become totally addicted to Scrap the Boys. Susan and her team do a wonderful job at coming up with new and interesting ways to capture that boy spirit. Thanks girls, looking forward to playing along each and every month!
